Never experienced a problem like this, but have you already posted this on Steam? Maybe they can help you there...

lol if your banned the only way to play is buy a new key. if you get a direct X error close xfire and steamOverlay
You need to buy a new key to play again.
You have been banned due to cheating/using the console.
You nao have multiple options:
You go to the store you bought the game and try to trade it for a new game saying the installation does not work or whatever.
You buy a online key. You are able to enter that key in steam and play again/redownload. However, you have to find a trustable provider.
You rebuy the game.
You crack the game, which means you will only be able to play private matches/coop/sp.
Last but not least, you simply buy bad company 2 and enjoy it ^_^

Du gehst in den Laden, indem du das Spiel gekauft hast und versuchst es umzutauschen, indem zu sagst, dass das Spiel nicht installierbar ist oder ähnliches.
Du kaufst dir online einen Key, den du dann bei Steam eingeben kannst. Online sind die keys günstiger, aber es ist halt nicht immer sicher. Du musst schon einen vertrauenswürdigen Anbieter finden.
Du kaufst dir das Spiel im Laden neu.
Du spielst cracked. Das bedeutet jedoch, dass du nur in Privaten Matches/Coop/Singleplayer spielen kannst.
Du lässt es einfach sein und kaufst Bad Company 2 ^_^
