It's not all just mumbo jumbo, 2000 was calculated as the end because scientist had horrible math back then and predicted that a black hole was passing near enough to us to destroy our planet. For 2012 scientist don't have any data on another black hole passing by or anything, but simply a celestial alignment is predicted within that year.

Back during the Cold War, tons of money was made on movies about UFO's/aliens simply because the government blew the Roswell "incident" out of proportion and labeled it a "communist act".

People are stupid anyways for living their life with so many regrets they'd get so worried to actually start freaking out.

When the gasses from the sun mix with the gases from all the other planets, it creates a substance that will basically fuck the shit out of us. The good thing is that we're close to the sun that the gases will fucking miss us.

Also the fact that if you think about it, it's like an eclipse, but with all the planets. Think of a normal eclipse. You can't look at it, right? Well wtf will happen when all the planets align, not just the sun+moon.

In OTHER words, it's a big group fuck with the planets, and they're all gonna orgy at the same time.
