Playstation.. Hackable already?

Well i heard a while ago that geohotz release ps3 exploit buuut
im not sure if its hackable already like for buying non original games and stuff like that you know ?

My friends keep telling me that yes that in a shop and idk what but i just cant beliave them because they got xbox and wii lol :P none got ps3 so i just wanted to know

no. ps3 wont be hacked soon. it was hacked once but then sony patched it. and every other exploit thats found on the thing will most likely get patched if its not already.

he hacked the ps3 by using other os install thats y sony removed this feature because of security risks

Actually it is true to an extent, the PS3 was hacked by geohotz, but so far it's only usefull for developers and higly experienced people, I believe with his exploit he can dump files and stuff, he dumped the hypervisor and stuff, I don't know what that means, but I'm guessing in a year max, we'll have homebrew and stuff, it could be sooner, I know you can load backup games with certain exploits, so the PS3 is somewhat "hacked"

Lol Geohot can hack almost anything he just has the experience and skillz needed to do it so im sure he WILL hack it soon. Unless he did it already.

you can get copyed games but you would need blue ray disk witch are very expensive and a computer that would allow u to copy to a blue ray disk aka the cd drive witch is i was told about 300 euro it would be cheaper to buy the original
