hey im making a anti virus and i need help starting it off

I made an anti-virus, i recommend quitting now. My AV has like 20,000+ Dangerous file types that i added manually to it! I wasted 1 week of my summer making it

Don't real AV's hook onto a crap load of the systems vital kernel functions and registries and make sure nothing harmful is going on?

Yes. Except for the fact that all those hooks can be bypassed. check out khobe 8.0.

hmm i don't think you will make it..

if you want to make a basic av, you need to check to see if the md5 is bad. Try using the system.security.cryptography to get md5's

(I know from experience) Anti-Virus have a simplistic concept, however, it takes a decent team and money to get into this and have it be effective.

I am not saying quit, just be cautioned, it looks easier on paper, trust me
