I can't do that again.

I can't do that again.
I can't go long periods of time without doing graphics.
I just tried to make something and stared at the screen for about 20 minutes.
This ever happen to you?
What do you do about it?

I had the same problem recently, i stopped doing things for sotw and what not and basically did no gfx work and now my skills have fallen to near nill. that last sotw i presented its horrible. im still trying to find my artistic value again.

I've been sketching and such, but it's way different from design on a computer.
I'll just GFX it up hardcore when my vacation starts in a week.
Maybe it will help.

thats the way i found
make a tut sig then go back to normal

It's really not that I've lost my ability, I still have all my knowledge (I was only idle for about 2 weeks, mind you).
I just don't know where to start and how to continue.

im kind of the oposite, I have ideas, lots of them, but they ususally dont work out. Plus i enjoy doing larger arts than sigs now. Sigs are so crammed and dont give you much freedom of space to work in imo

Maybe its time to move onto a different creative venue.. such as photography or sculpting?

I wouldn't think so...though I'm getting a camera soon.
