Injecting .dll's Need Help

Okay, so I have tried numerous injectors, used Engine.exe and engine.exe as the process I want to inject.. When I run Combat Arms, it stays on waiting and never injects...

Help would be appreciated. Thx

Windows XP, yes I've tried with firewall off.
Red Dragon, Infinity, Apple Injector, Fire Gods, I've went through quite a few injectors from topics on MPGH.

Okay, if it does inject, I get an error.
Then when I go in game, the hacks aren't even injected.

The next file missing is d3dx9_42.dll

Why are these files required to use the injector, but not normally? And I'm also assuming I'm going to have to delete them if I'm ever getting teamviewed, because they aren't files you normally have in your NX folder?
