[CF]CrossFire Gun Modding.

'Allo there, i'm Greengo, I'm making this topic to ask if anybody here knows how to edit Crossfire Guns, it does not need to be like to edit the whole gun out but i mean like at least change the colors and some parts..

yeah, I haven't really looked into this much, but idk if this is really possible, and even if it is, it would probably be pretty hard, just saying

I tried to mod it but when i tried to extract the rez it failed and when i tried to open cf it said file corrupted and i had to reinstall,im thinking if you changed .rez to like .rar it might work but i dont want to risk reinstall again,btw add me my ign is KfcFuneral

u only can mod the look at the item shop or storage nothing else...

You cant mod the crossfire guns look IN GAME! You can mod it in the storage and item shop. The reason you are not able to modify the in game look is because there is no .rez file in the crossfire files.

That's the equivalent of saying there is no E in the alphabet...there IS a .rez file with skins etc in the .rez folder, we just can't access it.
Maybe if we could dig up some dirt on someone who worked for Z8Games and made them give us the source files and game tools......

Its most likely serversided packets that would be illegal to hack in to.

doubt it that would be too much damge to send because it would have to use your ping and it would lag your shooting your gunn reaction and your skin might leave the wire frame etc

Yes that is the best thing we can do ...but we don't have somebody that is going to tell us cuz [From what i now] z8games is petty new... is not so old as other sites like subagames so.. people working there will not tell us anything cuz they risk of loosing their jobs

it would be legal.
but on my experience of rez modding it isnt possible to change the rez to a file you can edit as photo like in combat arms. you just can change the inside code of the rez file.
