Nooby help for the noob please

Ok i know how to change font and stuff in a post, see but i know somehow (or there used to be) a way in the user cp that everytime you post it does the font, size and colour you chose without having to click the buttons as you post.. id like to know how?

Click User CP, then Edit Options, then scroll down,

is this colour better? i was going to say nice and dark but since when is dark nice?
