A smooth gaming setup:
a) Laggy Computer? Solved: http://www.mpgh.net/forum/288-combat...-10-steps.html
b) Sticky Mouse / Keyboard? Possible Solutions:
Buy a new keyboard and mouse
Warm, Damp paper towel or hand towel.
(Damp, not soaking wet with water that can affect the electronics)
c) Headphones / good speakers
Any earphones laying around / adjusted sound
A Sniper:
Any Sniper in the L96A1, L115A-, M-200 Series'
Most preferably bolt-action / single shot snipers and not semi-automatics.
Moderate Reflexes:
As shown in my 2nd video above, my first sniper kill was one of fast reflexes and I was able to move my mouse quickly to get the kill, if you can have anything similar to that, like my kills here on an old Halo 3 video towards the end where I stick the guy shooting at my right, then you're a bit set, if not, then I suggest more gameplay for practice:YouTube - OH-no-ur-not
Medium - High comfortably sensitivity:
My average sensitivity, depending on the mouse would be between 15-35.
Mouses are different, so if you can move your mouse 6 inches left or right, and have your character facing the same place started then you should be set.
Example: adjust your sensitivity between 10 and 40 so that when you move your mouse at least 6 inches left to right, you should be where your character started, and back.
How to adjust to those settings:
If you're usually at around 5 sensitivity and your 6-Inch adjustment test was shown that you should be at 30, then you'll have to go through a lot of work.
Start playing at 5 for 2 games, and increase +1 per 2 games.
--example; 5 sensitivity, then 2 games later, 6, then two games later, 7, then two games later 8, etc; until you reach the "30" needed.
This is a long process, but if you don't have fast reflexes, then you'll be lacking a key ingredient in any FPS game.
*note: Pictures and possibly video will be posted up once I get my Computer to work again, on my Netbook at the moment.
short montage to give readers a bit of an idea what it is to quick scope, and your point about reflexes...
REFLEXES ARE KEY TO BEING A GOOD SNIPER! WITH SLOW REFLEXES, YOU'RE DEAD EVERY TIME!
I don't see anything
It's not showing up on my screen lmfao
