Myth
I wanted to be like.. the Mythbuster of Combat Arms, so I did some tests.
1. Females are faster than males:
No, it all depends on where/what the person is going toward, in most cases, pro players tend to be females and therefore are better playings, they are able to move around faster, then the male player who often stop.
Now, some characters like Mei and others ARE faster, but that's because they are given a bonus for an item or restriction, this does not count because their speed is given by their weakness.
2. Female are harder to hit them males.
No, again, it is about the players themselves, the females LOOKS smaller, but remember they are the same height, mass, etc.
3. Females have smaller hitboxes/males have larger.
No, hitboxes are detecting boxes around the person's character, it is unseen by the naked eyes. Now, before you give me bullshit about WOGL saying they are. WOGL is NOT a gaming programming company, it is a gaming league and using them as evidence is stupid.
The hitboxes are the same, while the character looks smaller, it does not the hitboxes are smaller.
Tests shows that the players reactions toward the females make them aim in tighter shots than toward the males. Which is why the common assumption that the females have smaller hitboxes comes in because they looks smaller.
That's all I got for now, if anyone else got something in mind, please ask and I will do some tests.
