Trying to alleviate some of the pressure from the minions, maybe if we all chat BS in here, and keep the hack forum for hacks, then this room wont get deleted, and it would be easier for them to police the forum...Let's just all dump our bs in here and keep it in here....

Minions can come in here and individually delete spam messages....leaving the rest of us to keep chatting....or better yet, get some decent coders that can work with vBulletin, and give us a shoutbox....other sites have them, wouldn't it work here?

Dave has overall rule on what goes on here. It's all his decision.

A "general thread" would not work, nor is it practical. We have the release section to post in. That's how it's been even before the General came and went.

Ok, so like I said, instead of a General Section, why not a shoutbox? Can't tell me that's not practical or do-able....I can code one in Ajax in like 10 minutes....

Bottom line, It's not our choice what happens. You can post about it all you want.

And V-Bulletin doesn't need any "coding" to add a chatbox. It's an on/off button.

Actually, shoutbox for vBulletin is only for licensed versions, this site is running an unlicensed one....so yeah, you'd need a mod, or coded extension to make it work....I know because all i do all day is code phpbb3, vbulletin, and ajax based sites.....
