[SOLVED]texture hack 1.6

Hi when i installed the texture hack 1.6, I forgot to make back up files.

I was wondering if someone could post the files for me?

or is there any way i can get the original files back?

Exit Steam

Delete .iwd's (archives where textures are in)

Launch Steam

Library > Right Click on MW2 ; Properties > Local Files tab ; Verify Inegrity Of Game Cache...

And you're done

Now hit the thanks button /yea

Depends on your internet connection. But should be redownloaded pretty fast /yea
EDIT: If it downloads slow, pause download, change your downloads location in Steam settings, will require restart, then continue DL. Try to pick a mirror that is near you but like, from a country that doesn't download a lot

it took 3 hours to download lol.

something is wrong with my internet...

i can get quite quick speeds but it only downloads at 500-800 kb/s

U can use the tool Archangel posted. Mw2 backup trainer. Its rly good :3 for steam only (he is currently making 1 for aIW)

Thats quite good actually, i get 300kb/s at max and it sucks

This will work only if you have original files, so thats why he did it all-right now, by redownloading etc. Thread starter, use that tool now if you will want to use texture hack later.
