Warrock lags hard :S

hey all!
i already posted a topic for 'long loading' but now im using another computer, an old laptop, and its not only long to load: its impossible to play because it lags too much :S

i tryed to defrag, to use gamebooster, but it still lag bad..

do you think there is sumthing i can do? (sumthing free and fast if possible

)

i got 992 Mo

Well, If RAM is in fact the problem, you'd have to buy more.

You could also try running though your process list and killing all non essential processes.

and if i have another old computer, can i take his RAM and add them to my laptop's ones?

You'd have to make sure the RAM is compatible with the other computer.

I'm not sure how to identify it :/

If you take out the memory ram from a computer and put it on a laptop it wont fit because on a laptop they are made to have only the slots the company offers

so on a computer there would be 4 memory slots as on a laptop there would be how much the laptop company offers which is mayb that 1 slot thats why it has 912 or whatever

I've got two slots O.o

1.5 gig each

Well the reason i said that was because he mentioned "old" laptop then i knew it will only have 1 slot and the memory chip's would be different. you cant go to electronic frys and buy a chip for it because he said its old

It's different because generally you have DIMMs in desktops and SO-DIMMs in laptops. And the difference can be that it may be of a different variety and bla bla bla (not gonna bore you guys with details).

Anywho, if you can get upgrades from where you got the laptop so everything is compatible, or just try running everything on lower details and use Gamebooster or Smartclose.

You should NEVER play games on laptops, especially FPS games..

Maybe stick to solitare if you own a laptop /
