Hellgate London problem

I just bought Hellgate and installed it and then I tried to create an account and I entered the CD key and stuff and all the right info, and it just says Unexpected Error, Account Not Created. It was sealed in plastic when I bought it, so it was unopened. It doesn't give any specific reason why it had an error either. It said just try again later. Does anyone play this and know why this might be happening?

probably the worst mistake in game choices you have ever made, hellgate is hated by anyone who has played it, the game is full of bugs and crashes like lots. It was certainly not worth the money you paid for it
