Get Core i7*
intel core i3
intel core i5
intel core i7

^ choose wisely.
Im running intel i5 and its awsome.
i7-875k is what I'd get. It really depends on your socket motherboard. If you got LGA 1156 get it. Safest overclocking and should give you a substancial boost of processing power without damaging other components.

What processor do you have right now? i3 to i7 880 is 1156, the i7-900s are 1336. If you got a different processor socket then what I mentioned, you're going to need a new motherboard.

with 3 hamsters
The i7-875k unlocked? I'm going to get an i7 which is obvious so don't just go around saying GET AN i7 lol...I want to know the specific one...like whatever one you think would benefit my speed in games/fps because I don't really know much about anything.
I have an i3 and it blows.
stop et.

i got my laptop from 1st word war, processor with 2 hamsters and 1KB ram

AVA runs good. but i have to change hamster every 1 year
I'm talking about playing games like Metro 2033, Just Cause 2, Mafia 2 ect. on maximum settings and wondering which would be the best i7 in that price range for it. Since those are all the same price and not much different I was just wondering if anyone knew which would be the best.
1336...like almost 1337 but not quite? Lol :P Oh yeah and I will need a new motherboard since mine will most definitely not work with it if I get a new one since it is from 2007...Intel Corporation DP35DP. SO if anyone knows a good motherboard that will work with an i7 then tell me please
