Changing sections.

Hey,

I am topblast i am a coder from the Combat Arms section and CA is boring now because everyone are leeching now -.-.

Well i just want to start on CoD . any ideas of whats different.

He want's to learn actual mw2 coding, so it will stay here. People in help won't know shit about coding.
Anyway caver = someone who rarely comes out of one main section /

Just look around. And make sure you are familiar with how VAC2 works...

Yeah it looks pretty awesome, maybe you should try to make the picture smaller, in Photoshop, maybe? /

theres no point starting to learn to mod in cod mw2 now.. mw2 is dead.. and by the time u learn how to mod good black ops will be out and then mw2 will die

You are wrong in everything you said.

And do never underestimate a man

VAC is located in steam(not in the actual game), it uses a variety of APIs to detect your hack(ReadProcessMemory, Module32First/next and ALOT more).

Patching things in the .text section leads to detection, so only write to memory in the .data section

Also, unlinking your module is not enough, gotta destroy the PE and everything else that could possibly indicate an injected dll(you could try writing the functions you want to use to the .data section and creating a remote thread)
