make sure u can run notepad without this happening
Your cpu gets 100%, witch means crash. Minecraft eats your memory, when u close it, it relases all.

Minecraft sort of has a memory leak.
get more RAM... or a new comp... oh and ive played games that take my comp up to 100% for hours and havent had it crash... i wonder when Minecraft will fix that memory leak?
