I sent my laptop to HP for repairs and don't expect it back for a good 3-5 months.

There are plenty of good laptops at the ~$1600 range, which is awesome, but I could literally build a desktop with twice the ram, twice the hard drive capacity, twice the processor speed, and a 1080p monitor for about the same price
