i had some problems initially with the resolution ingame going a bit weird. i found out what it was: i extracted the tga from the .dtx normally using "dedit" which also didn't compile it back properly. i found this problem didn't happen if i just used the photoshop plugin, but i still had to redo it by importing the layer off the first attempt into the second...

ok, umm thanks for the critisism i suppose.
you are right: in the photo it does look grey but ingame it's blue

as for the c+p comment, i only learnt how to mod yesterday and this is my 2nd ever mod.

anyway it's not c+p it's importing a picture and using it as a texture lol

:P

also, if not c+p can you give me a few pointers on how to make/ start making my own textures? stuff like what brushes, colours, etc. because i've looked at some of your work and they look good. i could give it a go, but i would probably benefit more from few of your pearls of experience. ^^

Importing a picture to use any where on a gun (even as a texture) is called copy and paste.

Too much of a greyish to be considered blue.

It dosent matter if its only your second mod. I would rather see a one color overlay than this C+P piece of shit.
