VAC banned - can I still play black ops?

Since when my friend even asked steam and they said no u do not have to make another account...

yes you can play with VAC ban !!! go to Settings , VAC status , Click here for details ,
and you will see the following games are affected .
so yes you can play on black ops in banned account .

Look i have MW2 and counterstrike and garry's mod all on vac
im banned on mw2 but not on counterstrike and garry's mod
so YOU CAN PLAY ON YOUR BANNED ACC. any vac secured games like black ops

you get banned on engine when it comes to valve games. they all use the source engine, meaning if you get banned from CSS, you get banned from DODS , HL2, TF2 etc. too. I have an account on which I got banned on CSS and instantly got banned on all the other games too. If you get banned on MW2 you can still use the other VAC-Secured games (valve's games). Dunno if the engine ban counts for MW2 and BO too, as BO uses a modified WAW engine, which is basically a IW engine, which is basically a Doom engine). Bit of confusion there, but there might be some people dumb enough not to consider this, and rage by saying I got banned on BO and now I can't play mw2 anymore? Money back! This way we'll find out what to choose, a new acc or put it on the same one.

So whats the answer now ?
