[Solved]Help, Ban Question.
Im not asking why i am banned, i was using liberation and a whole variety of cheats

Im wondering whether, if i buy BlackOps on my current account, whether i will be banned from the MP on that aswell, i know BO will use Vac, But im not sure as to if i will, ask Mw2 and BlackOps use different engines

Any insight would help

BO will be a steam game, that's confirmed.

But, since you'll get a new steam account when you buy BO, why use the old banned?

A VAC ban affects the entire account, including any game bought(that is VAC secured) after the ban has been invoked.

A VAC ban affects only the game you are banned with, if you are bannd in a Source engine game then all other Source Engine games will get a ban lol.

ROFL LOL u guys have done something weird i have 3 games on my steam acc all different games. Mw2, L4d,Napoleon: Total war,

Ok. Basically, where im from, you can use an old steam account for every new game u buy. As i am Vac Banned, i can play source engine games still, as Vac bans by engine, so if youre vac banned, it doesnt affect every game. What im not sure about is, you can buy Cod4 and Cod5 retail, and steam isn't needed. Im wondering whether this is different for BlackOps, as it's apparently using Vac.

Mate, as others have said; you can play BO on a steam account where MW2, CS or any other game is banned.

You can play BO on a banned MW2 account 8o%. I'm still not doing it. Already made new account.

I played it safe by making a new acc too, glad you did too since a while after they disabled my account.
