need easy walkthrough tutorials for c++

can u guys help me find an easy walkthrough tutorial on c++, so i can start contributing..

plz post or gimme link to a good tutorial.. and can guestimate how u good u think it is.. and how long it should take for me to learn w/ this tutorial...

important you must read all dont skip shit or you will get no where
if you find reading it boring or hard work programming isnt for you

1. C++ will not be fun nor will it be easy for you. I'm not trying to be an asshole, but I am learning it as well, and Jetamay linked me to a book of over 1000 pages (not that you have to read all of it).

2. Learning C++ will take a couple of months. Do you know VB yet? Do you know any language yet? Start with easier ones. Learn about everything you need to know, including basics. Never just look for a tutorial that leads you through making a hack, you won't learn as much as you need to. At all.

antiRTFM's youtube videos are good for people that learn better visually , im new to c++ and the tuts helped me learn about the basics of pointers and other things , for now he is busy and will update his page with more videos soon ( so he says) . here is his youtube page

he also has some forums up that newbies can post code on and ask questions , but right now its running kind of slow , but with more members he would probably pick it up , so check it out if your having trouble.
