Need a little help plox

Well uhh, like the thread says, I need some help on C.
I grasp the concept and syntax, I know basic codes and what string/int is.

But I can't seem to create ideas for projects, it's like as soon as I try to think of something my mind goes blank, and i'm stuck looking like

And the hardest part for me is starting or figuring out what I'm supposed to be doing. But once I figure something out I'm on a roll, near unstoppable unless my comp crashes or something.

If anyone could give me some suggestions or a good way to start, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Something that accepts user input is always a good place to start.

Unhelpful, but I liked the joke.

Anyway, back on topic, I'm the exact same way. What I suggest doing, is find something (for me it was a virus) that could be done with non-advanced concepts of stuff and just work towards it. Have a big project and learn everything as you go, I spent 2 months programing the 'virus' and I learned so much. Now at this point, I can look at tutorials or examples and know what they are doing and implement it into my own code. I just recently made a CSS aimbot using some tutorials found here. (still working on it now)

Edit: The reason I chose a virus is because it uses like 90% of things in Windows.h, since it has to communicate with the system so much. I made it into an IRC bot that uses Winsock2.h and connects to an irc server and allows me to send commands and receive info.

Idk, about making a virus, but I do agree that you should definitely jump into the Windows API as soon as possible, because the sooner you get familiar with it the better.

Didn't spread it, and it was super-easily detected. I only did it for the challenge. But, if you think about it a virus does go pretty far with windows API's. And the Winsock part too helps with networking.

Believe it or not my issue wasn't about spreading it. I was just saying there's other projects that he might want to do. I don't think anyone would be too worried about a virus anyone on this site might make, maybe other then BA, but hes not here anymore. I was just saying he can go for other projects that might be something hes more interested in.
