Back site

I know this may be stupid and everything, but we should make a back site (back up site) which is a mirror of this, but when this site goes down, it goes on it's own with data, and then when the main site (this one) comes back up, it retrieves the data from the back-up site... And there would also be a... 200 post limit? Sound reasonable? For someone to access the other site, or to know of it

Which could be ranging from 5 minutes-2 days... I don't think some ppl are willing to wait 48 hours for updates on stuff, when they come back, they will most likely rage

Its something every site deals with.

I'm just trying to make this site better then all the others... It would be way better, and would help out with a lot of stuff

So when one MySQL database gets corrupted, two get corrupted.

How is the site supposed to know it's down? The two sites will have to duplicate eachother.

that's an extremely stupid idea.

backing up 700k members, 179k threads , and almost 3 million posts is gunna take alot of memory.
