i've recently come to realize every human lives their lives lying to themselves and being fully evident of this shit
i don't understand this shit
people are supposed to be a fuckin miracle one way or another no matter your beliefs
yet we lie
we tell our children lies
and we use them as excuses for us to have fun

i don't get it
maybe i just think different than most people
idk...

People lie because often a lie is more acceptable than the truth. If you don't feel like going to work, what would you tell your boss? That you're sick, or that you simply don't feel like it? The latter might get you fired.

People don't like the truth, that's just how it is.
