Word wrap Option

Okay I have the dropdown menu, button with "Wordwrap" and I have it checked.

How would I have it when its clicked and if its checked it un-checks it and makes TextArea.Text's word wrap off, but if its clicked again (unchecked) then it gets checked again and word wrap is active again.

I tried this but doesn't work:

        If WordWrap.Checked = True Then
            TextArea.WordWrap = False : WordWrap.Checked = False

            TextArea.WordWrap = True : WordWrap.Checked = True
        End If

What I don't understand if why you want it to uncheck?

            Textarea.Refresh()

I want it unchecked when word wrap is off, checked when word wrap is active.

And if I refresh it then the text that would be already there would be deleted

No it does not delete everything.
plus do this in a timer...
