[Preview]Minecraft Mod: Anvil and Hammers!
First off, the mod itself is based around player advancement and expanding the Minecraft we all know and love! The blocks/items in this aren't meant to be constructed from the beginning of the game. These blocks are resource heavy because they are meant to be built by an experienced player; it will take more than a few days to gather the resources for these recipes... Containing things such as more work areas in addition to workbenches and furnaces, more blocks that are great for industrial constructions, and more items in the hands of the player! So lets gets started...
THE ANVIL:
The mechanics of it are similar to that of the furnace, but for repairing tools. The hammer tool is used as the "fuel" and the upper slot is what is being repaired. When the Repaired Tool is picked up out of the anvil, to be placed in your inventory, the hammer remains in the Anvil but one use is subtracted from it (This is displayed via the item durability bar on the hammer.) and the "broken" tool is removed.
THE HAMMER:

In order to create Iron / Gold / Diamond hammers you must create an Iron / Gold / Diamond slabs. These slabs are condensed materials that makeup the head of the hammer. These slabs are then used in the recipe for the Iron / Gold / Diamond hammers.
Despite its resource-heavy recipe, the hammer can be used more than once; it has an item durability of its own. (Though it cannot be repaired, since hammers can't repair hammers.) Hammers save tons of resources since it is practically creating a brand new tool every time it is used. Below is each hammer type, what it can fix and how many tools it can fix.
Wooden Hammer:
Only Fixes Wooden Tools | 3 Uses
Stone Hammer:
Only Fixes Wooden/Stone Tools | 3 Uses
Iron Hammer:
Only Fixes Wooden/Stone/Iron Tools | 8 Uses
Gold Hammer:
Only Fixes Gold Tools | 10 Uses
Diamond Hammer:
Fixes All Tools | 14 Uses | 12 Uses on Diamond Tools
MOLTEN & STEEL TOOLS:
Everyone gets to point in their minecrafting where they have tons of iron, but haven't found any diamond yet. To fill the gap between iron and diamond tools I've created a new set of tools that are created using iron. The upgraded iron tools are called Steel Tools, but in order to get steel tools you first have to create Molten tools, which are then hammered at the anvil to condense the iron to create hard, steel tools. Visuals are always a better way to explain...
Similar to how steel tools are made, these Steel Diamond tools must be put on an anvil and hammered. These Steel Diamond tools are the same strength as regular Diamond tools, but have more durability and break blocks much faster than regular diamond tools. These are ideal for professional miners.

THE MARKET:[/s]
The mechanics of it are similar to that of the workbench, but backwards. When the gold coins are placed in a single space on the left, the right is filled with a list of resources. When the player picks up the resource they wish to buy, the gold coins are used and the other resources disappear.
NOTE: Only one of the item stacks may be bought, as explained above the recipe.
GOLD COINS
It requires 4 gold ingots to create a stack of 64 gold coins. The gold coins can then be put in the Market to be used as currency. Note that each time something is bought only four gold coins are subtracted.

First you must create an iron rod. These iron rods cannot do anything except be used to create molten rods. Creating molten rods is done by putting an iron rod in a furnace. These new molten rods are used to create molten tools, which will then be used in an anvil to create steel tools.| [Furnace] In the Furnace [Furnace] |
- These Molten Tools are weak and only have 1 use. Meaning that the molten pick can only break one block, and the molten sword can attack something one time (so don't mess around with these, otherwise you're wasting iron.)
- These Steel Tools are the equivalent of Iron tools, in strength, but not in durability. Steel tools can break more blocks, and last longer, than iron tools. Although, they aren't as strong as diamond so this isn't an alternative... But Steel Tools are definitely a bridge between iron and diamond.
- -Steel Diamond tools are for end-gamers who have mined for quite some time and are still looking to improve their mining skills to the furthest.
