It's not dependent on what sort of memory editor software you have or a specific version of it, it's dependent on your knowledge.

first of all 5.2 is useless, 5.3 is the most stable out of all of them, however 5.4 has more "economical" and sophisticated code to it, which is why it's been easier to use/create UCE's out of the 5.3 source's.
