changing the things in your player.txt such as controls, visual effects such as blood on or off, and your guid can also be changed in there i suggest not to play with that if you don't know what your doing.

I wonder what will happen if I change stuff there, any suggestions?

i've tried editing that but i dont see change in game

u can change some things

it depends you can change mouse sensitivity in there which you can also do in game with [ ] you can set different bindings (keys) but you have to know what number the key is easy to figure out kinda, theirs things as cross hair styles too i never tryed them sounds interesting play with them lol figure anything new out tell us , Sounds settings on off quality, you can put your password in there to save it for you, your port that the game uses is also in there, theirs a bunch of graphic settings play with them if you want see if you can get a better quality or performance, you can also turn the shell casings off if there too anything along with tracers dynamic lights and shadows.

Gudsoldier posted a thread about this topic. Some things can be altered in your player file. If you go back through the site, you can find it. I've tried to change my players name, but it didn't change to the name I put in there. I really didn't bother with anything else, because.... I just didn't. If your worried about f***in' up just make a copy of the profile document, and save it somewhere, so you can restore the settings you once had.
