What background applications are you using?
Make sure nothing is preventing Xtrap from running / starting up, also make sure no other program is interfering with Xtrap's hooking or w/e
Format ur pc or reinstall it, It will work im sure.

Don't format it. This is too extrem. Try to redownload the client from the website, not only the game from your downloader.
Turn of your AV and firewall and test this.

^ this is what I meant when I said to stop anything that would prevent Xtrap from working. Make sure you disable any resident shields the AVs may have and any anti-rootkit protections etc.

And I would suggest you ask for help on Z8Games' forums as well

Firewall would, if anything, affect network connections, not the actual client running. And no, it looks like intrusion detection is still on as well as 3 other things

have you used norton? it comes in like 4 different parts...that internet security is referring to his browser /tire the normal firewall/av should be under norton 360
This happened to me a while back. Problem was my AV which was McAfee att. Since you have Norton, try disabling your firewall or if that doesn't work try disabling 'security' (briefly just to test)or w/e the name is.
the funny bit is before i quit i just turned my northen firewall off and it worked
