About User Tagging

Well, with this new feature, many of you are probably wondering how to use it
so i thought i'd put this together

to tag a user simply type @ followed by their username
this will create a link to their profile, and they will get a notification saying they have been tagged

like so

if you click that it will bring you to your profile
to find the message you were tagged in, simply click the "Mentions" tab and find the latest post you were tagged in. then click the link

and it brings you to the post

please do NOT abuse this

it is a very helpful feature for asking questions in threads (@ whoever question)
or even going offtopic (yeah it is cool and @ whoever offtopic statement)[/IMG]

Well i was thinking you could just type "@" then there name instead of summiting it

well you can do the [ment ion] tag
but just type @whit and it woks lol

i like it. cant wait for it to stop being overused.
