I have no motivation

I can't be motivated by anything, i've been punished, had my PC taken away, been yelled at, been offered money ect. but no matter what my parents do still i lack motivation to get A's in school. Help me MPGH, how do i get self-motivation?

Ask your friends.. Just relax for awhile and let everything be. Don't put too much on your back. Talk to your friends, other family, and girlfriend if ya got one.

set goals for yourself. if you fail to reach them set new ones and maybe do a little something to make up for those missed goals.
Example: your goal is to get an A on a test. obviously that will mean you will have to study a bit to get it. lets say you get a B, think about what you could have done better and maybe spend a little extra time studying the next night. goals solve a TON. helped me a lot at least

I recommend you don't think, "Get all As this semester." Instead, set a daily goal of doing your homework, and to not slack off during the school day. An overwhelming goal is, well… overwhelming, but something that seems very realistic and achievable can really help you out. If you can feel good every day because you did your homework and class work, then it will build up to feeling really good because you got a B+ on your report card.

Pretty much the same. Gave up trying to get all a's and stuff, and just skimmed through what was absolutely necessary to pass classes. I knew the majority of the content in most of the classes anyways, so it was even easier for me.

Better job + more money = better life + more opportunity for anything. You could do anything you wanted to.

You need to think about the future an even if you don't care, one day you will care about your grades. Your transcript follows you forever. It's like a creepy stalker that will never go away. Now is the deciding factor for the rest of your life. I know this doesn't sound very Christian but find the inspiration in yourself. You do good now you don't have to work as hard later.
