[Re-Intro]Coming Back To VB Section.
and i have several questions...
1: Has it been figured out how to get a .dll injector to work on 32 & 64 bit? If so an explanation of how to do this = Thanks n Rep
2: Has their been alot of Tut's posted recently? Or has the section been mostly releases. If mostly releases would you guys like some Tut's?
3: How many of you were in VB section 8 months ago when i was active here?

-Cheers

By default, Visual Basic/Visual Studio builds the Executable to work with both 32bit and 64bit operating systems.
Because of this, if the executable is ran on a 64bit system, the executable will be a 64bit process. If the executable is ran on a 32bit system, the executable will be a 32bit process.
64bit processes cannot load 32bit DLLs, and 32bit processes cannot load 64bit DLLs.
All of the functions needed to Inject DLLs are contained in "kernel32". Since kernel32 is a 32bit Library, any processes running as a 64bit process will not be able to load kernel32, and therefore, not be able to successfully Inject DLLs into another Process.
To get your DLL Injector working for both 32bit and 64bit, you need to tell the IDE to build your Executable as a 32bit Executable.
Tip 1 found in this article, will tell you how to force the IDE to compile as a 32bit Executable.

1: Yes
2: http://www.mpgh.net/forum/33-visual-...al-vb-net.html <- Tutorials...but release count > tutorials count in this section

Iamazn's solution for the 64-bit vs 32bit injection method seems to be correct. (it makes sense to me anyway)

Most of the tuts have been moved by NextGen to the tutorial section (or the morgue), so you might wanna have a look there, although there hasn't been THAT many posted in recent times

And welcome back Jared, I think I'd just joined about the time you were leaving (when I started VB )

Welcome back, it's been a while since you been here, Miss the old guys (other then pixie ).
