Ichigo didn't even need to use his Final Getsuga Tehshou. All he did was use the move once which Aizen recovered from anyway. I think he would have been fine without going into the Final form. But whatever i guess it had to end somehow.

well the reason for the usage of that attack was to defeat aizen once and for all. unfortunatly due to the healing abilaty of the hollows aizen was quite impossible to stop with a normal one... though having not seen a single getsuga tenshou with the 2nd stage ichigo, its quite normal to think that way.
god i was happy to watch this episode life @ school (the tv tool was blocked though DONGLES FTW). next week the real final of the first part of the serie i assume.

308 was better cuz it was more intense, i liked how aizen thought he had ichigo, and then ichigo is all "that all u got?" and how in the end aizen finally realizes ichigo is stronger.
I still think it was highly unnecessary. E.g. When ichigo said "Is this all you've got", he smashed aizen with one strike. Anyway i just find annoying that his final form wasn't THAT strong and it didn't last long either.

At OP, it does seem like FGT is forced but in the end resulted in the Hogykou rejecting Aizen.
