Problem with Sound Modding

Hi,
I tried to mod the sound of AUG A1 to make it sound like a kid sais Pew Pew. I recorded the sound in Teamspeak 3, extracted the GUNS_SND_AR.rez, injected the new FIRE.WAV File into a new rez, renamed reznew to rez. When i open the game it just closes after a while. I resetted the rez Files ( Renamed them Back) and CA started without problems, somebody know the problem? My sound file was a .wav file.

Did you make sure to close any rez modding programs before starting CA?

What happens when you go in game and shoot the weapon; does it use the same sound as the one you injected?

try extracting the rez and leave the folder in the game folder

just put the modded file in the extracted folder and take the actual rez out

ten CA will read the folder and open up the files in there

BTW in the SND files there is folders

@HiddenMaster the Game does cloes when the lil man runs when i use the modded .rez, when i use the normal one it plays the normal sound
@SeanBoBoEgan I already tried this, actually nothing changes^^

btw. i have Win7 x64 SP1
