black screen?

uhhh so i kinda bugged the char i think..... the screen is stuck everything is a black screen i've relogged multiple times i have to end process just to exit game. i used the enter rochest/colhen/field commands and might havep ut them in the wrong order by accident. any tips please? not sure what else it is i would have done

Nope its not a ban. I've had this happen to my own character, and he's still good.
I had the HDMI and VGA cables plugged in, but then I took the HDMI out while on a boat. The game glitched up for a bit, and then the screen turned black, but i could still hear sounds of me moving, slashing, etc.
Just some sort of graphical glitch, probably not even on Nexon's part. Just reboot Vindi.

Get a friend that has XP to login and move you back. It's a random game bug that I encountered. I couldn't login on windows 7, but my friend could go ingame on the character fine, it was in Rocheste, and he used XP.

I bet it's more about whether your client install has all the resources for Rocheste than what OS you're running under.

No, it's not. I uninstalled/reinstalled it, and that doesn't solve the problem.

It's just a problem with a certain setting. Maybe it might not be the OS, but it's definitely some setting, and switching computers solves it.
