[Help] connecting tv to computer

well i already connected my dell computer through my VGA cable(ialso have an hdmi cable somewhere laying around somewhere)

anyway i get no sound(i only get sound from my computer speakers) but im wondering if there is a cable that syncs the speaker sounds to the video(

What are you connecting you're computer to?

It's cus your connecting the display into your computer, it's like connecting it to your monitor and expecting it to play?

Yes, there is a cable. It has a headphone wire thing on both ends. I hook my dad's laptop to the TV all the time and use the cable to get sound on the TV.
