How to Bind keys

Ive been using the consele alot, but im tired of copying and pasting for every reload for a map.

i found out how but it says go to town and bind key ...
thats to vague for newbies like me i need step by step please

open console
bind your key "command here" <-- and yes u need the QUOTES " "
run console command


bind p "changelevel 2"

ok... i get how u do it.. but i got a curios question... do we have to redo that everytime we run the console?? I mean u type in the bind key " " in the input bar right n excute?? does it auto save in a folder so everytime i run it i can just use the hotkey???

It's saved untill you go into options in vindictus,then it will reset.Once you set the bind ,cmds all you will have to do is just press the button you binded 7,8,9,0,etc......

one more newbie question.. so lets say i bind it... n close the console... accidentally or purposely... does the binds still works?? caz i dont want to do it.. if it still works if i dont lunch the console or have it open.. caz then what if i press the numpad accidently and the hacks works and i was in a public party??? caz someone verify that whn u bind the keys.. does it work without even having the console open n just by pressing the numbers?? if it does i rlly dont want to do it..

Yes even without console open it will work,but if you open up options it will reset.

there is a way to make it where options doesnt reset the binds but it makes them permant and a ways to switch between diffrent bind "sets" that are perma

And how do you do that?

edit the H f s default config file for the game and add the binds to the default binds text and replace your HFS file i have one with my binds that i use on it but i could make one on a per person basis i guess..
