need help

need help
so I finally downloaded Sony Vegas 10
AND it works
but
the rendering is just pathetic
the quality is like a piece of shit
anyone knows how to solve this? codecs or anything?
please

Vegas compresses videos a huge amount when it renders. You can make things much better by using 1028 x 720 resolution or higher, MPEG4 file type, highest quality etc.
However, you'll most likely never get the same quality of what you started with.

maybe your resolution is too small as obama said 720p is the way to go and it does compress a huge amount when rendering. so make your comp 720p.

what r u rendering as what are the render settings?

Render settings: 1280*720, FPS:59,(god knows)

Main concept
whatever
as always
but what I'M trying to tell you is that theres some CODEC problem, and I need help with that

thats cool, but I DONT HAVE PROBLEMS WITH THE RENDER SETTINGS BUT WITH THE CODECS !!! SO ANYONE WOULD LIKE TO LINK ME SOME WELL-WORKING CODECS PLEASE?

okay, kinda solved it, the problem is that my AVI codecs are fucked up
anyways the others are good, I dont need K-lite
just get me AVI codecs pls xD

Download Freeware KMPlayer 3.0.0.1439
you should alrady be able to play avi without codecs.
lemme guess are you trying to play combat arms movies?
if so you have to download xfire
