Footsteps

I'm pretty sure everyone has heard of louder footsteps. Well I'm wonder if anyone can make louder footsteps and some how turn down gun noise at the same time cause the gun sounds give me a headache but, that's not the point of this thread. I was wondering if anyone can some how remove my team footsteps and mine? If you can't remove my teammates then maybe just mine?

There's really no point except when listening to music this is helpful? Because your footsteps and your team's footsteps are so loud you can't hear your enemy's footsteps any better then with out them.

I would try this my self but, I have very little modding experience and I have no idea how you would mod sound except through audacity.

If anyone can do this I would be very thankful.

Davidsorrow? That you? Lmao haha, Also, There is 86 Footstep sounds, 4 per texture effectivly 43 because #3 and #4 are roughly the same as #1 and #2 All of these are interchangable and non specific. Keep in mind a footstep per sound. Everyones footstep uses the same sound source.

Also, Shadow is correct. EVERYONE uses the same footstep source. Therefore if you remove one, You remove all. Even if youve never rez modded yourself, Think about it. Do your teammates footsteps sound the same as your enemies? Yes. Yours may sound differently to you since they are always full volume and almost non locational but they are the exact same.

if it annoys you, lower your speaker sound -_-

lol actually my steps sound like a fat ass WHOMP more than a sqeak like my team mates. I changed my footsteps to animal noises and my friend thought he was crazy when he played o.O

I play wogl so that would be a bad idea.

i tried that last time, extracted everything, injected. about 70+files to inject if i didn't remember wrongly. might be more now.

i dont think it worked.
