[Help]Why an Application wont start

Ok, My app starts on my computer, but on others it won't.

On my bros, it dont come up, (win 7 64bit)

On my old computer, it stops responding (win vista basic 32bit)

Things i've tried...

-Removed Form loading code
-Removed all codes (even when the app doesn't do a thing, still fails)

Things ima bout to try...

-Different form on load

I'm wondering, if it doesn't have to do with the form loading, but sumthin else.

(this is for a friend, he doesn't go on hacking sites -_-)

Requirements? Ever heard of it?

Probably .NET framework not installed. (or some other fancy stuff that you might be using there)

I don't think so, i even made a new project, copied the code, still failed. Can't figure it out

Well mabey if your program code is using the user32.dll try switching it to user64.dll not sure.

dude i already gave you a reason. and it's the one which you ignored. Are you that dumb?

I bet you are building the application with .NET framework 4.0 and that these other computers don't have it.

Uhm, no thats not the reason. I have .net on my old computer, AND, i made a different app that works on both, bros and my computer.

Some actual code examples might help. If it's not a dependency and it's not a .NET version issue then it is most likely something in your code isn't compatible with a 64 bit machine.

Well, I can't show too much. Also, It wont work on 32bit either...

EDIT: It has to do with my first form. If i start with a differernt form, it works.

What doesn't make sense, is if i remove the whole code, it wont start, if i make a new form, it still fails.

I already had a virus , That all programs .net i try to open it wont respond,,

go to references.. select all the .DLLs in there.. then change Copy Local to true.

see if it works
