my father hasn't one either but he can even run black ops

It was kind of a joke. Quad SLI is a pure waste of money, and scaling is bad. Just 2 cards is all that is needed, and at 3 cards scaling goes off, and at 4 your just wasting money on shit you wont use, because you need to OC your CPU quite a bit for it to catch up.

So if your seriously running quad-SLI, you are probably not too smart, or just have a lot of money to burn.

quad sli is two cards with 2 gpu's such as two 590's. The idea still stands though, scaling of the cards kind of sucks, you don't get very much performance boost over an increase of cards after 2 way. You're spending a few hundred dollars in cooling and cards to get a small jump in FPS.

Ahh well I think I was still thinking of some older cards. I guess I meant GPU's instead of cards. The point is still there though.
