Issues with Black Ops

Well, uhm, I have this Flatscreen that my dad hooked up for me, just today, and well, when I move with my right analog, it just has a 1 second delay before moving to where I made it go. I'm not using an HDMI cable, any solutions?

Oh, it's probably from the controller it's self. Try it on another TV, if it's the same problem, it's from you controller. If not, it maybe the TV or PS3 itself

Nice answer, but it didn't happen on my old small TV

@Zorph² I had the same problem when moving from my CRT tv to my LED LCD! Thing is mine was not only black ups!
Now most LCD TV's has a slower response time then CRT tv's but shouldn't be so much that its half a second... When it happened to me I went through my video settings, turned off any enhanced motionflow settings I had and put my TV's scene setting for the TV into "Gaming", restarted the PS3 and it was fine, well the next day. Now I understand most TV's don't have this option so if you manually go into your Video settings and just lower the settings that could alter the framerate (Mainly something the framerate, EG. motionflow inserts more frames to make the image run smoother), If that doesn't help, it is possible that the TV has to adapt to the PS3's gaming frame rate, etc. I hope this helps and fixes your problem

Sure does, but i'm using a Insignia, it has no "Gaming Mode" and i'm really quite stuck, i'm going to explore the menu :> Thanks
Edit : I've been searching, and I think I need DCM? I can't seem to find it. @Xion7200

@Zorph² , Yeah I wouldn't know for your situation, but it could be possible that the VGA connection cannot upkeep the data speeds that a HDMI can, It may also be that motionflow needs to be turned off, TV needs to adapt, or many more reasons, it's just such a vague topic. Hopefully one of these issues correct your problem Sorry.

when i swtiched to my hd tv i didn't have this problem so i coudln't help you but i suggest you listin to @Xion7200

Did it work?

I use HDMI on 1080 Resolution. This happens to me at time to time while playing Black Ops.. Maybe it's just you were lagging? The host may have had a a location in a different country to you. Possibly try playing with HDMI and without HDMI and with bestter host location. Press select before you search for a game lobby and change to 'locale' or 'locale only' which means decreased chance of lagging ;P
