So, im about to go fix my gf's grandpa's pc.

Problem is, reinstalled xp, now printer + sound is not working anymore.
My thoughts are: update drivers?

give more suggestions.

Buy new computer. Replace old one.

wait the sound isnt working?

I would assume if it has on-board sound, then the motherboard disk would have drivers for the sound.

dl the sound driver? i had to do the same with the realtek thing

u should Have CD For the drivers of Sound and Printer

Then its should work,

if u dont have them Get the Right Driver From Internet and install

Check The Drivers Installed And Install The Ones That Are Missing.

Device Manager If You Didn't know

download the drivers
windows xp doesn't install all drivers automatic
windows xp just suck balls

For printer: Reinstall printer with disc.
For sound: I don't know.

UPDATING DRIVERS SHOULD WORK

Superglue the printer on to the PC for a more stable connection. Other than that: drivers.

IM GOING TO POST SO I CAN +1 EVEN THOUGH EVERYONE HAS SAID THIS: I THINK IF U UPDATE DRIVERS IT WILL WORK

It should just be drivers. Download and install 'em. Simple as that.
