How to Farm!
Minecraft is a game with limitless possibilities. From making a roller coaster to going fishing, Minecraft encompasses many aspects from real life and makes them a whole lot more fun and easier. I guarantee that a good Minecraft farmer will not be a good real life farmer. I wrote this tutorial for people that are new to Minecraft, and do not know some of the basic things that can be accomplished.
For example, farming.
Getting Started
Before we can start making our farm we are going to need some materials.
-Seeds
-A Hoe
-Torches and/or glow stone
-Bucket(s)
-Dirt
-Fences (OPTIONAL)
-A location.
How do I get these?
-The first thing you will need is a hoe. You can use many different materials to make a hoe.

-Now we need to get some seeds. Seeds can be obtained by going up to a dirt block and right clicking with your newly made hoe. It may not drop anything, but keep trying different dirt blocks until it does.
-The next thing we need are a source of light so our crops can grow at night time, and monsters won't spawn near them.

-Now we need some buckets. By providing your crops with a source of water, they will grow 3 times faster.
Let's Start
1. Obtain all the necessary items and find a location for your new farm!
2. Fill your bucket(s) with water.
3. Set out your location like this.
4. Fill the spaces with water from your bucket(s).
5. Make sure it sits nice and flat. All water should be still.

6. Now we make it so we can actually plant something in our soil. Get your hoe and right click on the dirt blocks. You will notice that it changes from a dirt block to a soil block. Because it was a water supply, it will stay this way unless trampled on. Right click on your new soil block with your seed to plant a crop. After you have planted it will look like this.

7. Now, you have to wait for your crops to grow. You're almost there! After your crops have fully grown they will look like this. Don't try and harvest them before this stage.

8. Once at this stage, you are nearly done. Approach your crops (DO NOT STEP ON THEM) and click on them. You will notice a piece of wheat will drop and if you are lucky, more seeds!
9. Use the seeds to continue your farm and craft the wheat into bread.

10. Now, maintenance. Place torches around your farm so they can grow at night time, and fence it off so no animals or monsters can step on them.
I hope you guys enjoy your new farm! Remember, my tutorials take a long time to write and get screenshots for so while thanks and rep is not necessary it is sure appreciated!
