Update ban?

Sorry, I'm new to the whole hacking thing but can someone please clear some up for me? Is everyone who hacked before the Titanic Shift update going to get banned? And if we don't get banned during this update, in the end if we hacked, eventually without a doubt we will be banned later on? Sorry must seem like a stupid question.

If you're dumb enough to hack publicly, then yes there is a chance of being banned. There's no 100% ban of console abusers as a whole so far and it seems more likely that they ban reported hackers (via ticket which they might finally do something about the many tickets this coming patch).

Your final question can't be answered since none of us can predict the future. But most likely, the answer is no.

Well, last ban wave was before the maintenance a while ago. There hasn't been any more ban waves since then. Who knows, maybe they'll do another one tomorrow.

I been hacking since this hack was release and there were a bunch on updates but I have nvr gotten banned on any of my chars and the ppl dont suspect a thing about me hacking.. as long as u have ur friend list clear they cnt touch u

Out of curiosity, I experimented with the Friends List earlier. What I found out is this:

1. Deleting someone from your Friends List does not notify the other person of his/her deletion as well as your activities.

2. Re-adding them in the Friends List will only show them that you logged in. You don't need confirmation from them to add them to your list once more.

In other words, deleting people from your Friends List is like selective privacy mode. They won't see what you're doing and they won't know that you removed or added them again.

The problem is this, if your character is part of a guild, it will still show in the guild chat window that you just entered the room. They'll still know you're online, but whatever you're doing, they have no idea.

I'm just sharing the result of my experiment. As always, it's best to have no people in your Friends List at all and your cheating characters to be guildless or have its own private guild that only you know about.

Actually they do no that you remove them because the message of you had logging in will no longer pop up in their screen nor the boat u lunched. However it is true, when you re add them you dont need confirmation.

Yeah that's because they didn't remove you from their list.
Plus, they might not notice, and just assume that you're taking a long break from the game. It would be awkward if a deleted friend sees you in-game though.

Actually, even before I started using cheats, I kept getting random NGM problems where it wouldn't start and I wouldn't show up in guilds. I think everybody has experienced it a few times while playing Vindictus. It's still easy to say "Well it's bugged and I don't care about re-logging just to fix it" lol
