So...this sucks.
Well, as most people know I'm doing a Java course in uni at the moment. Here's the deal, we have 2 professors, 1 of which gives the lectures and one who teaches the workshops (workshops are for people struggling, so not me of course, I'm too 1337)
Anyway, one of them is a dude, and one is a lady (old-ish unattractive lady to clarify), the dude has been our lecturer so far, and he's pretty rad. He knows his shit, and is really concise at explaining things and has a sense of humor, especially when it comes to pwning dumb bitches, overall a good teacher.
Now, here's the deal, we just got through midsemester exams and now they are doing a changeup, the workshop lady is becoming the lecturer and our old lecturer is doing the workshops.
The lady is a completely different story, she seems like she probably knows her shit, but sucks at explaining everything, and has a really annoying way of teaching. She also has this habit of reading acronyms as words (fucking annoying) for example
GUI - she pronounces Gooey (as in, "this goo is sure gooey")
ASCII - she pronounces Asky
just makes me want to shoot myself in the dick listening to her lecture. 'cos it's the second half of semester i might actually encounter shit I haven't done before, in which case I'd prefer a lecturer who could actually teach well.
Just thought I'd bitch and moan to you guys.
As a sidenote, got a distinction on my Java midsemester (get on my level)
