So here I am at school, bored the hell out of my mind and got nothing else to catch up on. 45 minutes till lunch time ends. I really don't know what to do, so I came on MPGH to check what was up, made a few posts and pretty much that's it. Then I thought, why not try to make a guide? So I did. I thought blankly in my head for a few seconds trying to think what to write a guide about. Then it came to me, an AK-47 Guide.
The AK-47 is a "hot" item in the item shop and pretty much through out Crossfire. People like to use this gun to excel their skills, especially people who honestly think they are not good in this game. I, when I was a nub, the only gun I would use would either be M12s or a M4. M4 of course, is a good and fair gun, but M12s? Hell no. Then I started to use the AK. At first I sucked balls at it, and I could only get kills with it at close range due to its tremendous power and accuracy. Medium or Long Range I'd be screwed. When I couldn't take it anymore, I was like, "F*** the AK, recoil is too much to handle." However I didn't give up. Today, I'm what you can say an apprentice of the AK, a loyal one. I'm not the best AK Player, but I don't determine to be the worst one either. No one is the best at the AK, their is always room for improvement for this gun. So anyways nuff' with my story of the AK, lets begin the guide.
AK-47 Specs: K, this gun is pretty awesome in my opinion. Being the highest powered rifle and the great accuracy is always a great trait on this gun... except for the recoil. The recoil is just plain crazy unless you know how to control it. If you can control it, Sir, you are a genius when it comes to Crossfire. The AK takes time to master, and I don't mean like 5 minutes, I mean a LONG TIME.
Types of shots: One Shot - One shot clicks. Don't spam it.
Double Shot - Two shot with somewhat of a spray induced. Don't spam it.
Spraying - Holding your mouse and killing the living hell out of someone.
Short Range: This gun is a monster in short range, so you can spray the shiz out of someone without any skill, right? Wrong. Yes of course you can spray in close range for sure, but only if you know how to do it properly. For me, I tend to practice the spray pattern. If you notice the spray pattern always goes up. So if your aiming at the body in short range, chances are you may miss and will get killed. This is why we move our mouse down slightly to penetrate the force of the recoil with the mouse, so it somewhat moves in a straight angle where our Crosshair is marked. Aiming at the head is always a trait, you always want to try to aim at the head, it's always a one hit kill to the head.
Medium Range: Somewhat easy, and somewhat difficult. For medium range, we introduce a mixture of small spraying, and one/double shotting. Spraying really is only necessary if the person you are killing doesn't see you, or your just great at spraying. Remember to always control the recoil, for spraying at this range you want to aim at the pelvis. One/Double shotting is a great way to kill your opponent. If you're aiming at the head, great, but at body, a 3-4 shot body kills is all that you need. I also suggest for One/Double shotting to always start aiming at the pelvis if you can't aim at the head.
Long Range: This is where things get really tough. Don't even think of spraying now, it's all about one and double shotting. One shotting is a great way to kill someone quite easily. Also a tip, when one shotting, don't literally spam click the mouse, give it a few milliseconds and then keep shooting. If you spam click, your in for some recoil trouble. Once you master one shotting and double shotting with this gun, imagine the progress you make with others guns, too.
Reloading: Ok, from a few reviews I've seen around Youtube, the reload is about 2-3 seconds, which is not bad but not good either. When reloading, make sure you got something to cover you or someone to back you up so you can reload and get back into the game. Types Of AK: AK-74 - Sort of like the "little brother" of the AK. A much weaker AK with a different sound and a soviet union design.
AK-47 - Original AK with a soviet union design.
AK-47 Camo - Original AK with extra bullets and a camo design.
AK-47 Knife - Original AK Skin but with a Knife at the end.
AK-47 Silver - Original AK with a Silver Design. Used to have slightly more power and less recoil till CF nerfed it.
AK-47 Scope - AK with a sick black and red design. Has the regular scope like the SG. Less Power, but when scoped in the speed of the AK does not change.
AK-47 Gold - A gold designed AK. With a ton of extra bullets this gun is used for the survivors and those who can totally wipe a herd of noobs.
Overview: Overall, I have to pretty much say the AK is the gun that really impressed me in this game. I think if people just take the time to learn how to handle this gun, it will affect your gameplay with other guns around Crossfire in a positive way, too. Knowing how to use this gun is like a death threat to Scar Light, M4, and M12s users.
Final Thoughts: This gun is for those who either want to be better, or make this their ace weapon. If you can't handle the recoil and don't ever want to, then don' use this gun, bottom line. This is for those who want to improve in this game that will affect their gameplay with other guns positively.
