Its a server setting. But most people who get killed start crying griefer without realizing its the point of SMP. If you wanna play peacefully play one of those RPG servers. Or creative. Or SSP. Or set a up a private server with friends

Like Heart said, in the server config file. I think it's different in Bukkit...

arunforce cant do anything on that server

PVP is the whole point of the server, make ure place hidden. and put stuff in ure chests but hide them well

My server has pvp turned off BUT Monsters are on (but creepers cant explode the map

)

Change pvp=true to pvp=false in the server.properties file if you don't want PvP.

Thats not the issue.
Also you can use Bukkit and do it was a command.

Was it in your inventory or a chest? If it was a chest than it was probably a thief.

I tihnk he locked thw chest, becuase hes syaing somone hacked HIM!
