Also, let's talk about the play Equus. Synopsis: It's literally about a young man who has a pathological religious/sexual fascination with horses.There are religious and ritual sacrifice themes. The kid Alan's sexual training began with his mother, and he eventually begins to show a sexual attraction to horses, desiring to pet their thick coats, feel their muscular bodies and smell their sweat. He goes to work at a stable, and rides horses bareback naked. He encounters his father at a pornographic theater, and feels betrayed.
